Kamila graduated in 2004 with the title of Master Engineer in Architecture, at the Gdańsk University of Technology in Poland, faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. Shortly thereafter she came to Scotland, working for a local architectural practice in Dundee. Here she gained over 15 years of experience and construction knowledge - from preparing conceptual design proposals to gaining statutory consents and undertaking technical submittals. Kamila joined the practice in May 2009 and has since worked on numerous project types in the residential, commercial and educational sectors.
Kamila is a talented designer, and her work in the fit-out and interior design projects the practice undertakes has brought about many successful spaces for education, retail and leisure. Kamila’s specialism is in creating new spaces for learning in the education sector, particularly within university projects. Here she has amassed many years of knowledge and practical experience, including a lead role in the major refurbishment of the University of Dundee’s University Library – a project which has received wide acclaim from the end-users.
Kamila describes herself as a happy wife and mother of two children, and enjoys spending time with them after work. Her husband is the coach of the local youth football team, and they both enjoy organising events for the local community. Outside of the office Kamila enjoys all types of craft work such as painting, drawing, sculpture (having also graduated from High School of Art) and sports such as swimming and cycling.
