Description -
Dundee University went into partnership with the “Elevator” organisation to provide a centre for Entrepreneurship in Dundee. The facility provide specialist help for businesses wishing to push onto the next level of business growth. Companies benefit from University academic input and from experienced business people from the private sector.
The space provides areas for individual or small group learning and interaction. A central core of meeting booths and a refreshment zone provides separation between areas but at the same time encourages different groups to meet and discuss business opportunities.
The facility was created from a shell unit including the provision of new mechanical and electrical services. The fit out was completed within a tight budget. The building uses have report that the space has been very well received with usage higher than originally anticipated. The contempory design aids a positive air of invention and progression.
