Stephen is a talented Project Architect with over eight years of professional experience and has a strong interest in finding design led quality architectural solutions for complex and challenging projects. He is passionate about creating beautiful, functional, and interesting designs that respond to clients’ needs while also meeting budgets and deadlines.
Stephen embarked on his architectural education in 2008 where he studied Architectural Technology at Belfast Metropolitan college before moving to Dundee in 2010. Stephen obtained both his bachelors and Master’s degree with Distinction at the University of Dundee. During his studies, Stephen was awarded Best Student and was longlisted for the RIBA Silver Medal Award in 2016.
Prior to joining Wilson Paul architects in 2022, Stephen worked on several high-profile multimillion pound projects for Architectural firms throughout Ireland and Scotland, specialising in both residential and commercial projects. He has completed a number of bespoke residential new build and refurbishment projects and is well versed in tackling on-site issues that existing buildings can present. He is a proven innovative thinker and brings a wealth of inspired ideas to create carefully considered and crafted Architecture.
Stephen is highly proficient in the use of 3D and 2D computer-aided design software packages and is passionate about architectural visualisation and its integration within the design process. Outside of Architecture, Stephen enjoys spending time with his Partner as well as travelling – more often than not to Ireland visiting family and friends.
