Description
Blackscroft Park Regeneration Proposal
The proposal aims to regenerate vacant land into Blackscroft Park, a small, accessible green space for local residents and visitors. This park will include a woodland walk, leisure areas, a children’s playpark, and a community garden, contributing to the city's sustainability and enhancing local biodiversity. The park will also serve as amenity space for new housing under the Blackscroft Masterplan, which includes the regeneration of local libraries and the development of affordable homes.

Key Features:

Woodland Walk (West): A nature trail with accessible paths, seating, insect hotels, bird boxes, and new tree planting to support biodiversity.

Pocket Park (East): Open green space with accessible pathways, picnic areas, a wildflower section, and a gated playpark for children.

Civic Space (South): Curved seating around a public sculpture, promoting rest and community gathering.
