In this case our client already had a small existing extension, though it was somewhat at odds with the existing house and wasn’t delivering the connection to the garden they wanted. We based our designs around rationalising their existing home, the aim being to provide a cohesive whole. Although modest in footprint the design of the alterations and extension incorporates some clever features in order to maximise the daylight, views and space available – helping to accommodate their active lifestyle.
