Description
The Square Green brings contemporary apartment living to the historic town of St Andrews. Occupying a site formerly home to St Andrews Bowling Club, the development takes its name from this sporting heritage, creating 17 homes designed around natural light, generous views and carefully chosen materials.
Natural stone establishes a connection with the surrounding townscape. Its warmth and texture are complemented by broad areas of glazing and glass-fronted balconies, giving the elevations a clear rhythm while opening the apartments towards their surroundings. A recessed upper storey reduces the prominence of the penthouse accommodation and creates space for substantial private roof terraces.
The penthouses make the most of this elevated position. Corner bi-folding doors open the main living spaces directly onto the terraces, allowing the interiors and outdoor areas to function together.
